Jesus, the Good Shepherd
God is described as a good shepherd in some of
the stories found in the Bible. Jesus also described himself as a good
shepherd. A good shepherd cares for and loves his sheep. A good shepherd
does not leave any sheep in his flock behind. Jesus is the good shepherd
and we belong to his flock.
Have you ever felt left out or rejected? Take a moment to think of people
in your family, school, or in the world community who may feel left out
and are in need of prayers.
